About The Position
WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking skilled LPNs to provide exceptional long-term care to residents in a nursing home with a great reputation. As a long-term care LPN for WorkFit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and earn higher than average take home pay, as well as make a huge difference in the lives of your residents! Your LPN responsibilities will include the following: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient’s physician Monitor and record patient’s medical condition and response to treatment Coordinate with other health care professionals, such as doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians and social workers for comprehensive care Assist patients with activities of daily living including meals, bathing, dressing, and mobility Respond to emergencies and urgent issues as they arise Document patient’s medical records according to established standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with healthcare procedures and regulations If you are an LPN dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals in need of long-term care, we would like to hear from you! Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of New York.
- Previous experience in NURSING HOME or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare team members.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are preferred.
Responsibilities
