About The Position

Dover Care Center is adding to our exceptional team at our Dover, TN location! We are hiring for PT Nights for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). The position involves various essential duties and responsibilities that ensure the provision of high-quality resident care, compliance with regulations, and effective communication with residents and their families.

Requirements

• Graduate of nursing program.
• At least one year related experience preferred.
• Licensed in appropriate state as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Make daily rounds on assigned unit to observe, examine, and interview residents.
• Physically assess new admissions and residents for changes in condition.
• Ensure provision of resident care, including taking vital signs and administering medication.
• Assist with care plans to promote resident well-being.
• Communicate resident care matters to relevant parties.
• Train and develop staff by assisting with orientation and identifying learning needs.
• Maintain proper documentation of care and services delivered.
• Report relevant information to the Director of Nursing/designee.
• Participate in survey processes and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide for employee and resident safety, including monitoring compliance with safety standards.
• Perform quality assessment and assurance functions.
• Assist with the development and update of policies and procedures.
• Maintain and apply current skills and knowledge through continuing education.
