About The Position

Provides nursing care for patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. The LPN assists in the implementation of the delivery of health care services, assists fellow employees in providing the highest quality personalized patient care, and maintains a positive work relationship with the health care team.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing with active licensure with the State of Ohio Board of Nursing, includes Sub-Category MEDS-IV. a. If hired prior to 2/1/2024, a subclass of MEDS-IV is not needed unless moving into department requiring inpatient acute care.
• Must be willing to rotate shifts and units.
• Obtain and maintain active certification from the American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS required. Will accept at time of hire only American Red Cross "CPR for Professional Rescuers".
• Physical requirements: a. visual acuity of 20/20 or corrected to 20/20 including color vision when applicable; b. ability to hear (with or without aides) c. ability to orally communicate d. good manual dexterity e. ability to push, pull, roll, and transfer/lift 50 pounds occasionally f. ability to stand, walk frequently g. ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel frequently; and h. ability to perform CPR.
