About The Position
A Skilled Nursing Facility in Orange, NJ is seeking an experienced LPN Unit Manager to oversee clinical operations on a designated unit. This is a full-time, permanent leadership role requiring prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The LPN Unit Manager will supervise nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain high standards of resident care within the assigned unit.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey LPN license required
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility required
- Strong understanding of long-term care regulations and documentation standards
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff and coordinate care
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a supervisory or unit leadership role preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinical operations on assigned unit
- Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs
- Monitor resident care plans, documentation, and medication administration
- Identify and respond to changes in resident condition
- Ensure compliance with New Jersey DOH and CMS regulations
- Support infection control, quality measures, and survey readiness
- Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings
- Collaborate with RN leadership, ADON, and DON
