About The Position
Sprenger Health Care is a third generation, leading developer, owner and operator of senior living communities and services in Ohio and South Carolina. Through our 12-nursing home, 10 assisted living, and 8 independent living communities encompassing nearly 2,000 beds, we provide exceptional health care services, including; long-term nursing care, assisted and independent living, memory care, hospice, home care, respite care, and short-term post-acute rehabilitation. The LPN Unit Manager will follow established standards of nursing practices, implement facility policies and procedures, interpret policies to various stakeholders, supervise and evaluate direct resident care, and may function as a direct charge nurse. This position also involves clinical supervision of nursing assistants and charge nurses.

Responsibilities
- Follows established standards of nursing practices and implements facility policies and procedures.
- Interpret existing policies and procedures to nursing assistants, restorative personnel, residents, families and physicians.
- Supervises and evaluates all direct resident care and initiates corrective action as necessary.
- Function as a direct charge nurse at times and or as needed.
- Provide clinical supervision of nursing assistants and charge nurses responsible for providing direct resident care.
