About The Position

Brookdale Avondale is a 42 bed assisted living community seeking a dedicated LPN-Night Supervisor to support the overall clinical operations of our community. This role is vital in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents while fostering a respectful and dignified environment. The supervisor will work closely with the Health & Wellness Director (Director of Nursing) to coordinate and monitor resident care and support team development.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification
• Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in assisted living or long-term care
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends

Nice To Haves

• Experience in supervisory roles
• Knowledge of health regulations and compliance
• Background in staff training and development

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily healthcare operations to ensure residents' needs are met promptly and effectively
• Provide hands-on nursing care on the floor 4 days per week
• Perform administrative and leadership duties 1 day per week, including documentation, team support, and care planning
• Collaborate with the Health & Wellness Director to assess and respond to changes in residents' healthcare needs
• Promote a culture of quality care, respect, and dignity for all residents
• Support staff training, mentorship, and compliance with health regulations
• Maintain flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the community
• Rotating on call every other week
