About The Position

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE NEED TO BE AN LPN OR A REGISTERED NURSE Summary/Objective: Provide basic medical and nursing care. Ensure the comfort of patients, discuss health care with patients, and report status of patients to registered nurses and providers. Essential Functions Identifies and evaluates patient needs by way of telephone triage. Administers medication including injections; documents medication given or prescribed by ordering physician as required. Identifies patient and family education needs and provides instruction. Recognizes and responds to emergency situations as appropriate. Adheres to the Clinical Services policies and procedures when documenting information patient's medical records Facilitates the flow of patients to maintain the integrity of the physician's office. Assists the physician with medical office procedures. Maintain the integrity of the office. Assists with the flow of patients to maintain the integrity of the physician office and assists the physician with medical office procedures as needed. Assists with hospital procedures and/or surgeries and coordinates scheduling surgical procedures. Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm

Requirements

  • LPN Specialist requirements are: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing. Must possess active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or
  • RN requirements are: Current Florida license as a Registered Nurse. One or more years of comprehensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. CPR certification within 3 months of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • LPN Specialist requirements are: Preferred Education and Experience: Experience or training in a medical health care facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Gyn-Oncology experience preferred.
  • RN requirements are: Preferred Education and Experience BSN degree preferred.
