About The Position

The position involves identifying and evaluating patient needs through telephone triage, administering medications including injections, and documenting medication as required by the specialty. The role also includes identifying patient and family education needs, providing instruction, and acquiring additional credentials or licenses pertinent to the specialty. Adherence to nursing policies and procedures for documenting information in the patient’s medical record is essential. The position facilitates the flow of patients to maintain the integrity of the physician’s office and requires recognition and appropriate response to emergency situations.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing and hold an active Florida state license.
  • Additional credentials/licenses pertinent to the specialty.
  • One-year experience in a health care facility.
  • CPR certification within 3 months of employment.
  • For Xpress Care LPNS only, IV certification required within 3 months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities
