About The Position

Maxim Healthcare in Danville is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes. The position offers competitive pay and weekly paychecks, along with various health benefits and a 401(k) savings plan. Shifts include day school hours and some overnights available (not required).

Requirements

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
