About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at CentraCare Sartell Family Medicine Clinic plays a crucial role in providing patient care across various medical services including Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Travel Medicine, and OB/GYN. This position involves direct patient interaction, assisting healthcare providers, and ensuring accurate documentation of medical procedures and treatments. The LPN is responsible for administering medications and immunizations, performing telephone screenings, and recognizing urgent care needs, all while maintaining a supportive and positive team culture.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required.
• Ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders, and medication orders.

Responsibilities

• Room patients for all types of clinic visits.
• Communicate results and pertinent medical information to patients and providers.
• Assist providers with clinic procedures.
• Accurately document procedures and treatments in the patient's electronic medical record.
• Perform telephone screenings to gather information from patients for the RN or provider.
• Administer medications and immunizations under the direction of the RN or provider.
• Recognize patient abnormalities or urgent care needs and seek appropriate assistance.

Benefits

• Pay range $20.20 to $30.30 per hour depending on years of experience.
