Allegria Village is one of the largest senior living communities in the United States, offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing—all on one beautiful campus in Dearborn. We are currently hiring Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses for our Skilled Nursing facility . This is more than just a job—it’s a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care to our residents each and every day. We will be hosting Open Interviews this Friday, April 10th : Time: 10:30am-4:00pm Address: 15051 Ford Rd, Dearborn MI 48126 (Assisted Living Health & Rehabilitation Building) When you Arrive : 1) Enter through the security gate and let the office know that you're here for Open Interviews. 2) Turn right after the gatehouse and follow signs to the Assisted Living Health & Rehabilitation Building (look for the garage with the painted murals on them). Once you see this, you are in the right spot. 3) Park in the visitor lot next to the building and enter through the main entrance. 4) Once inside, let the receptionist know you are here for interviews- you'll complete a quick paper application and be directed to meet with our nursing leadership team. Available Shift: Full-Time and Part-time options available for Afternoon and Night Shifts.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or rehab settings
  • Active LPN or RN license in good standing
  • BLS CPR certification required
  • A true team player who shows up, steps up, and puts residents first
  • Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
  • Dependability and commitment to scheduled shifts
  • Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Comfort using electronic medical records and standard software
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN/RN program
  • Current license in the State of Michigan
  • Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and AED
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Able to stand, walk, push, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout your shift
  • Comfortable working around individuals with communicable diseases

Responsibilities

  • Delivering safe, compassionate nursing care that meets or exceeds our community standards
  • Ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols
  • Administering and documenting medications (including narcotics) accurately and responsibly
  • Responding promptly and effectively to emergency situations
  • Communicating clearly with residents and families about care plans and progress
  • Keeping detailed, regulation-compliant documentation
  • Participating in meetings, trainings, and continuous education
  • Supporting your team and stepping in wherever needed
