NURSING: LPN/RN; 3rd Shift
About The Position
The nursing LPN/RN is charged with assuring the quality and continuity of resident care. While also being tasked with supervising the performance of all members of the nursing care team on a designated Neighborhood and shift. To be successful in this role you’ll need to have knowledge of/experience in the following: Proficiency in technology and systems management- Office Suite (Microsoft), POC, Electronic Health Records Systems Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills – able to communicate effectively with residents, families’ interdisciplinary teams, and external partners both in person and over the phone Effective and Efficient- skilled in both verbal and written communication across diverse audiences Highly organized and detail-oriented – maintaining accuracy and focus in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- LPN / RN Licensures
- CPR Certification
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year Clinical Experience (preferred but not required)
Responsibilities
- Cooperate in providing a safe and pleasant environment and maintaining a high level of morale for residents and nursing personnel
- Initiate disciplinary procedures as needed for staff
- Establish and maintain effective interdepartmental working relationships and promote guest relations
- Arrange for scheduling of appointments and transportation of residents to other departments or outside appointments
- Observe and evaluate symptoms and conditions of residents and assure that families and physicians are updated and physician orders are followed
- Plan, implement, and see to completion the resident’s plan of care. This plan is written on admission with continuous revisions.
