Requirements
- Must be an LPN or RN who is capable of working nursing position
- caring personality with a positive attitude
- calm under pressure and exhibit sound judgment
- excellent time management and problem solving abilities
- good communication skills
- able to work as part of the back office team and must be accountable
- Must have knowledge of the proper use of medical and lab equipment
- Must be able to multi-task, capable and able to prioritize those tasks to keep doctor on schedule as much as possible
- previous medical office experience preferred
- Have appropriate certification of licensure
- Attend Continuing Education programs as requested or as required by the position

Responsibilities
- Patient Care
- Trauma assessment
- Triage patient calls
- Obtain and chart vital statistics and injections on patients
- Provide patient instruction and education materials
- Make and chart appointments for out-of-office exams
- Call patients on test results
- Do nebulizers, spirometry, ear lavage, catheterization as needed
- Order various procedures/labs as directed by physician
- Assisting Physician
- Attend physicians on all pelvic and breast exams, and minor procedures
- Keep physician informed of his daily schedule
- Dispense oral or injectable meds at physician's direction
- Administrative
- Provide educational leadership to LPN and MOA staff
- Complete encounter form
- Clean and supply patient rooms
- Wrap and autoclave clean instruments
- Prepare laundry for pick-up
- Individual duties as requested/assigned by Nursing Supervisor (i.e. ER kit, skin/joint tray, ENT/eye tray)
