About The Position

The Household Nurse at Pioneer Care performs a variety of duties and responsibilities in a nursing capacity. The Household nurse frequently assumes a lead position of a household on any given shift or primary medication distribution nurse on any given shift. The Household Nurse may on occasion and when directed by their supervisor, perform any duties on any shift for which she/he is qualified. Is responsible for the direction and monitoring of the Trained Medical Aide and/or Nurse Assistant/Registered in performing their duties and responsibilities of resident care.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Experience in nursing and resident care.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a leadership role within a nursing environment.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assume a lead position of a household on any given shift.
• Act as the primary medication distribution nurse on any given shift.
• Direct and monitor the Trained Medical Aide and/or Nurse Assistant/Registered in their duties.
• Perform any nursing duties as directed by the supervisor.
