About The Position

Mass General Brigham relies on a wide range of professionals, including doctors, nurses, business people, tech experts, researchers, and systems analysts to advance our mission. As a not-for-profit, we support patient care, research, teaching, and community service, striving to provide exceptional care. We believe that high-performing teams drive groundbreaking medical discoveries and invite all applicants to join us and experience what it means to be part of Mass General Brigham. The Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system-led operating entity formed by Mass General Brigham to deliver high quality, low cost, innovative community-based ambulatory care. This work stems from Mass General Brigham’s unified system strategy to bring health care closer to patients while lowering total health care costs. The Medical Group provides a wide range of offerings, including primary care, specialty care, behavioral and mental health, and urgent care, both digitally as well as at physical locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. The group also offers outpatient surgery and endoscopy, imaging, cardiac testing, and infusion. We share the commitment to delivering a coordinated and comprehensive experience across all locations, ensuring the appropriate level of care is available to every patient across our care delivery sites. Our physicians are board certified rheumatologists who work closely with other physicians and specialists to coordinate care of our patients with complex rheumatologic conditions. We are seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a busy rheumatology practice, working onsite Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse who is comfortable managing complex patient cases and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. The position involves supporting patients who are prescribed complex specialty medications, providing a high level of education around treatment plans, and coordinating care with infusion centers. The LPN will also be responsible for assessing patient acuity, communicating closely with physicians, and conducting nurse visits that are primarily focused on patient education and follow-up care. The ideal candidate will have prior rheumatology experience, though candidates with a strong background in internal medicine or neurology will also be considered. This position requires a high degree of empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. As the sole LPN in the office, you will work closely with a team of four physicians and four medical assistants, playing a key role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care.
