About The Position

The LPN PRN position at WesleyCare - Women's Care is designed for a Licensed Practical Nurse who will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care. This role involves managing patient flow, notifying patients of test results, and maintaining patient records, all while working within a supportive team environment that values patient care.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred.
• Must be licensed as a LPN/LVN in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient flow of patients including screening and preparation for exams.
• Instruct patients on the collection of necessary samples/tests and obtain vitals.
• Notify patients of test results and follow-up appointments.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Manage patient records including chart entries and posting lab/tests and examination results.
• Schedule tests and treatments, including arranging referrals to specialists and obtaining pre-authorizations.
