LPN Primary Care Walk-In

Cleveland Clinic Express Care Clinics provide no appointment necessary, walk-in medical convenience for common acute health problems. Under the direction of a registered nurse, physician, optometrist and / or podiatrist, you will perform patient care activities and complete required documentation for patients of all ages. A caregiver in this position works every other weekend from 7:30am to 2:00pm. Weekdays will normally include 2 shifts from 7:30am to 8:00pm and 9:30am to 8:00pm.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing
- Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
Nice To Haves
- One year of patient care experience
Responsibilities
- Collect and document objective and subjective data and observations about patients.
- Complete nursing assessments and report all data.
- Implement the current nursing care plan, medication or treatment and communicate patients' responses.
- Observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
- Perform routine laboratory tests.
- Educate patients and family members.
