About The Position
Position Summary In collaboration with the RN, the LPN utilizes the nursing process to provide compassionate and comprehensive care that meets the physical, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents. The LPN also responds to emergency situations to ensure resident safety and security.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current LPN license in the State of Wisconsin
- Effective oral and written communication skills with residents, families, and healthcare team members
- Knowledge of Federal and State regulations (OBRA, HSS132, Nurse Practice Act, etc.) as they apply to nursing homes
- Ability to safely perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
- Current CPR certification
- Accurate data entry skills and familiarity with electronic health records
- Adherence to Wisconsin’s “Standard of Practice for Licensed Practical Nurses”
