About The Position

Seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to serve at Essentia Living Center, our long-term care facility in Fosston, Minnesota. This RN or LPN works three 12 hour shifts weekly, 6:00 pm to 6:30 am. Every third weekend and a holiday rotation are required. There is a generous night shift differential, and sign-on incentives are available for RNs. RN ($36.69-$55.04 based on experience): Responsible for organizing and providing care to residents through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. LPN ($24.94-$37.41 based on experience): A care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of primarily elderly patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. Works both cooperatively and independently, to work efficiently under stress. Requirements

  • Education as required for licensure.
  • Current nursing licensure in the state of Minnesota upon hire.
  • AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month of hire.
