About The Position
Senior Helpers of the Palm Beaches is seeking a compassionate LPN or RN to provide skilled nursing visits for client requiring tube feedings assistance. This role is ideal for a nurse looking for flexible visits while making a meaningful impact in a client's home. Position Overview: We are looking for a LPN or RN to perform 2-4 daily visits to assist with tube feeding and monitoring for a client in Palm Beaches Area.
Requirements
- Driver’s License
- Active Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) License(s)
- Current American Heart Association BLS
- CEU’s –Alzheimer’s Training, Domestic Violence, FL. Laws & Rules, HIV/AIDS, OSHA, HIPAA, Human Trafficking, Impairment in the Workplace, Medical Error Prevention and Safety
- Recent Physical
- Valid Auto Insurance
- Reliable transportation to travel to client visits
Nice To Haves
- Experience with tube feeding or enteral nutrition preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform tube feeding administration according to the care plan
- Monitor Client's vital signs and overall condition
- Ensure proper feeding tube care and cleanliness
- Document visits and report any changes in condition
- Communicate with Senior Helpers and the family as needed
- Follow clinical and safety protocol
