About The Position

Seeking a compassionate LPN or RN to provide in-home nursing care for an older teenager with a tracheostomy, ventilator support, and supplemental oxygen. This role includes monitoring respiratory status, managing equipment, and delivering skilled, patient-centered care in a home environment. The nurse will help ensure safety, comfort, and continuity of care, allowing the patient to thrive at home.

Requirements

Current Illinois RN or LPN license
CPR required (Castor is able to assist with internal certification if needed)
Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered approach
New graduates welcome - comprehensive training provided for trach, vents, G/J tubes, and more through internal skills lab.

Nice To Haves

Pediatric or young adult experience preferred (but not required)

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care according to the care plan
Monitor health status, track vital signs, and administer medications/treatments
Maintain accurate charting and documentation
