About The Position

Join our Family Practice Resident Clinic located in beautiful northwest Arizona. In Kingman, we enjoy a mild climate with stunning Arizona sunsets! Position Purpose: Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients. Assists physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician.

Requirements

  • LPN Candidates
  • Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program and High school or Equivalent
  • Current, valid Arizona LPN license or compact state LPN/LVN license
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
  • MA Candidates
  • High School or Equivalent
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
  • DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Must meet one of the following three criteria:
  • Has attended a medical assistant training program accredited by one of the following:
  • The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools
  • If your Medical Assistant program was not accredited by one of the above agencies, you will need to have a Medical Assistant Certification issued by one of the following. If needed, we will assist you in obtaining a CCMA certification.
  • National Healthcareer Association: CCMA
  • American Medical Technologist: RMA
  • American Association of Medical Assistants: AAMA
  • National Center for Competency Testing: NCMA
  • American Medical Certification Association: CMAC
  • Has completed a medical services training program of the Armed Forces of the United States
  • Has completed a medical services training program of the Armed Forces of the United States
  • Able to distinguish appropriate colors, ability to work above or below shoulder level, life to 50 pounds, and walk or be in feet 90% of the day.
  • Expected duties have routine potential for exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues, to chemicals, biological, and radioactive substances
