About The Position

Join the wound center team in Redwood Falls as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant! Imagine the impact you can have on patients in Redwood Falls and surrounding communities! Summary Room patient per CentraCare policies, protocols and/or standards. Assist with procedures and administer medications and injections. Assist provider and help with other patient care tasks. Maintain cleanliness of workspaces and exam rooms. Manage patient schedule/flow. Organize patient information and document appropriately.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or medical assistant degree required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy
• Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Minnesota required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistant (see below)
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date. Certification from one of the following: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) American Medical Technologists (AMT) NCMA through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) National Healthcareer Association (NHA) American Registry of Medical Assistants program (ARMA)
