About The Position

As an LPN or Medical Assistant in our Pain Clinic, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patients who are navigating the challenges of chronic pain. You’ll assist with clinical tasks, patient assessments, and care coordination while working alongside a team of specialists who take a whole-person approach to treatment. From back pain and headaches to cancer-related pain and advanced therapies like dry needling and platelet-rich plasma treatment, our clinic offers patients individualized care plans designed to restore quality of life. Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school/college of nursing required for LPN.
• Currently licensed as a practical nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program.
• High school education or equivalent required for Medical Assistant.
• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program required.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a physician's office preferred.
• Proficiency in secondary language preferred.
• Medical assistant certification preferred.
• Medical Scribe experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and identified clinical support tasks within the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) scope of practice.
• Assist with clinical tasks, patient assessments, and care coordination.
• Provide quality care to patients under the direction of licensed practitioners.
• Promote efficient operation of the clinic and provide assistance to physicians and support staff.
