LPN or Medical Assistant CMA/RMA

Communicate results and other relevant medical information to patients and providers. Ensure the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed efficiently and on time. Assist with procedures within scope of practice. Administer medications/injections/immunizations. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
- Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
- Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.
- Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following:
- American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- American Registry of Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
- Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.
- To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
- Relocation assistance eligibility: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare/Carris in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from the Willmar Main Clinic and relocate to within 30 miles of it.
