About The Position

The medical assistant performs a variety of patient care activities and assists the provider and nursing staff to maintain the highest standard practice of care. They are responsible for restocking of supplies in the work area and maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) preferred.
• BLS Certification.
• Skill in taking vital signs.
• Ability to maintain quality control standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respond to detailed instructions.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to learn and perform diagnostic testing/procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical or vocational nursing program.
• Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Missouri.
• Current CPR certification.
• Skill in patient education and instruction.
• Ability to efficiently utilize diagnostic equipment and electronic systems.
