The North Olmsted Express Care Clinic provides no appointment necessary, walk-in medical convenience for common acute health problems. Under the direction of a registered nurse, physician, optometrist and / or podiatrist, you will perform patient care activities and complete required documentation for patients of all ages. A caregiver in this position covers between 7:30am to 8:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing
Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross

Responsibilities

Collect and document objective and subjective data and observations about patients.
Complete nursing assessments and report all data.
Implement the current nursing care plan, medication or treatment and communicate patients’ responses.
Observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
Perform routine laboratory tests.
Educate patients and family members.
