Requirements

• Graduated from a school or college of nursing program leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current licensure as a practical nurse in the state/states of practice.
• Minimum of 400 hours of experience as a RN (or LPN) at another facility or completion of a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Additional education, training, or experience requirements may apply for specific services/positions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
• Document a thorough medical history from patients.
• Contribute to the assessment of patients and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
• Counsel patients and family members on prevention and treatment plans under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge.
