About The Position

Hourly Full Time: 8a - 4:30p; 40 hours per week LPN starting at $24/hr Physical Location: Carroll County Memorial Hospital 309 11th St. Carrollton, KY

Requirements

• Qualified candidates should be a graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant Program
• Current licensure in the State of Kentucky or certificate in medical assisting
• CPR Certification required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-faced environment

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of growth and development in patient and family interactions to care for patients
• Measure vital signs on each patient upon presentation to clinic.
• Administer medications as ordered by providers while maintaining the 5 Rights.
• Document accurately in the patient’s electronic medical record.
• Reconcile patient medication lists.
• Contact patients regarding important messages about medications, test results, and other general medical information.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA requirements.
• Other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
