About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy outpatient oncology and infusion center setting. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), or provider, the LPN performs clinical and administrative tasks within the scope of supportive and restorative care. This includes health education, medication administration, specimen collection, and assisting with procedures. The LPN contributes to all phases of the nursing process and ensures safe, efficient care delivery. Requirements

  • Current LPN license in the State of Connecticut.
  • Competency in phlebotomy, bladder scanning, EKGs, and emergency response.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred).

Nice To Haves

  • Oncology or outpatient care experience preferred.
