Requirements

  • Licensed Practical Nurse with active Nursing License in good standing.
  • At least 2 or more years of LPN experience.
  • CPR Certificate from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Electronic Health Record and computer skills required.
  • Ability to work clinic hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge/Experience of the manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge/Experience with occupational health nursing.
  • Knowledge of recordable and non-recordable accidents.
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manage the administrative, clinical and operational nursing duties.
  • Support & Coordination of care for Onsite/Near-Site Model.
  • Collaborates for program development, including onsite preventative services, primary care/specialist referrals for Employees.
  • Facilitates Worker’s Comp process, referrals, scheduling studies and return to work assessments.
  • Attends Plant Safety Meetings, reviews injuries, and assists in documentation of Work Comp Injury.
  • Coordinates Work Comp Modified Duty with Client’s Supervisors & Safety.
  • Evaluates all work injury Return to Works.
  • Responsible for all Influenza Flu Events for respective facility.
  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert for development of programs and services.
  • Educates employees on Safe Work Environment and Prevention.
  • Coordinates Hearing Preservation Program with referrals to ENT.
  • Coordinates Onsite Events, Mammography, Blood Drives and Monthly Health topics.
  • Evaluates and treats all injuries, illnesses and medical conditions within nursing scope of practice.
  • Assists in medical emergencies and takes vital signs.
  • Provides basic wound care and gives immunizations under Physician Orders.
  • Supports and encourages Medical Management Plans of Patients.
  • Coordinates Onsite EAP Counseling after an event and ongoing education.
  • Conducts Wellness Campaigns and identifies Prevention and Health Opportunities.
  • Promotes Immunizations and attends monthly safety meetings.
  • Assists with Coaching programs as needed.
  • Educates on Prevention, Chronic Disease and Health Opportunities.
  • Initial Goal Setting to achieve improvement in health outcomes.
  • Responsible for all medical supplies for occupational office.
  • Assures compliance with regulatory requirements, CLIA & OSHA.
  • Charts within Electronic Health Record.
