Program Highlights Excellent skill-building opportunity for new graduate nurses Eight weeks of instruction, including online coursework, in-person labs, and precepted clinical care followed by extended oversight and ongoing training Safe skills practice in a state-of-the-art simulation lab Independent work in the home setting only when you feel comfortable and ready Dedicated clinical mentor throughout the program Opportunities to work with clients of all ages, diagnoses, and care needs
Requirements
- Active nursing license in good standing in the state of Arizona or a multistate nursing license
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program (verified by transcript or diploma); graduation date (not license date) must be within the last year
Responsibilities
- Build meaningful relationships while providing safe, one-on-one care
- Monitor and assess clients’ conditions
- Follow, execute, and accurately document physicians’ orders
- Perform comprehensive client assessments
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to nursing care
