About The Position

Overview: Starting Pay of $25.50/HR, can be more pending experience Offering a Sign on Bonus of $2000, half paid on first check and second half paid after 18 months (external applicants only) Night Shift will be 8am-8pm, shift diff of $3.30/HR on top of base pay Minimum of 1 (8) hour shift per week, with the ability to work in the following zip codes: Columbus (43205, 43228, 43231) Grove City Galloway Granville Hilliard Powell Reynoldsburg Upper Arlington Job Description Summary: Provides skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living. Job Description: Essential Functions: Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or advanced practice providers. Monitors patients' vital signs and records their medical histories. Assists with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provides emotional support and education to patients and their families. Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of practical or vocational nursing, required.
  • Licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio, required.
  • CPR certification, required.
  • Working knowledge of the concept of family centered care.
  • Ability to function collaboratively within the framework of an Interdisciplinary Team.
  • Problem solving, organization, communication skills and ability to work independently and react appropriately to crisis situations.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience in a pediatric care setting, preferred.
  • One year of home health experience, preferred.
