About The Position

The person holding this position renders care to patients in the dermatology office and coordinates the nursing function in dermatology as directed by the physicians and under the direction of the nursing supervisor. In addition, the person holding this position assists the physicians with surgical procedures, laser procedures and performs histotechnology tasks as necessary. Schedule: Full-time | 73 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud Day shifts Tuesday 7am-4:30pm, Wednesday 6:45am-4:30pm, Thursday 7am-4:30pm, and Friday 6:45am-4:30pm Mondays, Weekends, and Holidays off! Pay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at $23.29 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience Pay range: $23.29 - $34.94 per hour Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs available Full-time benefits : Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required One-year dermatology experience required Mohs surgery/ histotechnology experience (embedding, cutting, staining, mounting) required Current licensure as a licensed practical nurse in the State of Minnesota required Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy Advanced training and/or certification in histotechnology preferred Possesses the ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and hospital staff Possess an understanding of Ultraviolet therapy Surgical skills (assisting, equipment knowledge, minor independent procedure ability). Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
  • One-year dermatology experience required
  • Mohs surgery/ histotechnology experience (embedding, cutting, staining, mounting) required
  • Current licensure as a licensed practical nurse in the State of Minnesota required
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy
  • Possesses the ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and hospital staff
  • Possess an understanding of Ultraviolet therapy
  • Surgical skills (assisting, equipment knowledge, minor independent procedure ability)
