LPN/Medical Assistant| Memorial Medical Group | Damascus Family Medicine (up to $5,000 sign-on bonus)
About The Position
We are looking for a Medical Assistant or LPN to join our collaborative orientated team at Damascus Family Medicine! As a Medical Assistant in this role, a majority of your time will be spent in clinic assisting with patient care. This is a Monday-Friday Opportunity and would be scheduled to work between the hours of 7 am-5 pm. As a Medical Assistant in this role, a majority of your time will be spent in clinic assisting with patient care. As an LPN, a majority of your time will be spent triaging and answering patient calls along with medication reconciliation and prior authorization. Requirements
- Completion of post secondary program in Medical Assistant or experience as a physician office
Nice To Haves
- American Association of Medical Assistants certification (AAMA)
- Registered Medical Assistant certification (RMA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with triaging patients
- Accompany patients to exam/procedure room; assisting patients as needed with walking, transfers, dressing, collecting specimens, preparing for exam, etc
- Collecting & Document patient history in Epic
- Assist physician with various procedures
