About The Position

A Licensed Practical Nurse/MA performs a wide variety of activities, as directed by the Registered Nurse. Responsible for general office duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, referrals, ordering supplies, calling in prescriptions, etc. Assists physicians in providing direct patient care. This position is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing practice for managing supplies and equipment with the direction of the RN in charge, and for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.

Requirements

• LPN candidate must be a graduate of accredited school for Licensed Practical Nurses with current Ohio LPN license
• Medical assistants must have a High School Diploma or GED
• BLS certification required

Nice To Haves

• Graduate from an accredited school for Medical Assistants or proof of certification as a Medical Assistant
• Previous experience as an LPN or Medical Assistant in a hospital setting preferred
