A Day in the Life of an LPN - Longville Clinic In this role, the Clinic LPN delivers direct patient care by preparing patients for physician examinations, assisting with medical procedures, and administering medications as per established protocols. The position involves performing essential laboratory functions including blood collection and basic tests, while ensuring regulatory compliance with both healthcare and laboratory standards. You will frequently collaborate with physicians, laboratory staff, and radiology directors to facilitate comprehensive patient care and diagnostic accuracy. Challenges include managing multiple patient needs efficiently and adapting to varied health conditions seamlessly. The work structure is dynamic, often requiring cross-functional coordination to enhance patient flow and optimize clinic operations. Requirements

  • American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire
  • For CLIA: Able to provide diploma of highest degree obtained (minimum of High School diploma)
  • Current LPN License to practice in the State of Minnesota or CMA certification/registration with 1 year of hire
  • Effective communicator and listener
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Accurate observation and documentation
  • Adaptive in fast-paced clinic settings
  • Team-oriented and collaborative approach
  • Compassionate, patient-centered mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Previous LPN experience or graduate of a medical assistant program and achieve certification/registration within 1 year of hire
