Clark Fork Valley Hospital is seeking a nurse to provide routine care and support to residents in their Long Term Care unit in Sanders County. Requirements

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Licensure: Current LPN license in good standing with the Montana State Board of Nursing.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of long-term care experience preferred, or equivalent training and experience.
  • Skills: Strong cognitive skills related to nursing care.

Responsibilities

  • Medication & Treatment Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments, following approved nursing techniques within scope of practice, and notify providers as needed.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient care in health records.
  • Patient Education: Develop and participate in the implementation of individualized education plans for residents and their families.
  • Care Plan Management: Create and manage care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
  • Competency & Standards: Demonstrate nursing competencies and adhere to relevant infection control standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
  • Supervision: Oversee Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) as applicable.
  • Team Communication: Communicate clinical information professionally to team members.
