About The Position
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Build Meaningful Connections While Making a Difference Pay: $31.50/hour Schedule: We are seeking a part-time (16-hour per week) LPN to work third shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on Friday and Saturday nights. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you’ll provide compassionate, individualized care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in home and community-based settings. What You’ll Do Provide exceptional nursing care and oversight by implementing health care plans, charting vital signs, and administering medications as prescribed by physicians. Support individuals in their daily routines, offering personal care and health guidance as outlined in each Individual Support Plan (ISP). Build long-term, trusting relationships with the individuals you support and their families. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, guardians, and team members to ensure holistic, person-centered care. Requirements
- A current, active Connecticut LPN license.
- A valid Connecticut driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain — training provided).
- Compassion, patience, and a commitment to person-centered care.
- The ability to lift and support individuals with limited mobility when needed.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) nursing policies and procedures — training provided if needed.
