About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Life Care Center of Reno plays a crucial role in delivering quality nursing care to patients. This position involves working as part of an interdisciplinary team to ensure that patients achieve and maintain their highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. The LPN is responsible for monitoring patient conditions, reporting changes, and providing clinical supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited LPN program.
• Currently licensed/registered in applicable State with an active LPN/LVN license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation, with current certification maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact.
• Monitor and report changes in the patient's condition.
