LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
About The Position
We are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing healthcare team. Under the supervision of the head nurse, you will care for excellent care for patients and tend to their general comfort and well-being. Job duties include taking vital signs, changing bandages, administering medications, and monitoring the patient’s behavior for notable changes. Our ideal candidate has a compassionate attitude coupled with an impeccable bedside manner, as well as an ability to work in a fast-past environment. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Provides skilled nursing care in patient's place of residence and facilitates coordination under direction of RN and/or Physician.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Current license to practice as LPN in state of Indiana
- Current CPR
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as team member
- Ability to drive car and/or arrange own transportation
Nice To Haves
- Prefer one year minimum of clinical experience
- Prefer past experience in home care
