About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with 18 locations across 7 states, offering a high standard of medical and clinical treatment across all levels of care, including detox, residential, PHP IOP, and outpatient services. The center is JCAHO and CARF accredited and in full compliance with ASAM standards. They are currently hiring a part-time LPN for their Lake Ariel facility, a 40-bed residential center nestled in the Poconos mountains, providing drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services with round-the-clock supervision and care. The dedicated staff, including therapists, clinicians, nurse practitioners, addictions counselors, and behavioral health technicians, foster a warm, accepting, and non-judgmental atmosphere for healing.

Requirements

Minimum one year diploma program post - high school
Current LPN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
Strong oral and written communication skills
Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles

Responsibilities

Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
Provide patient education in individual and group settings
