LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
About The Position
We are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing healthcare team. Under the supervision of the head nurse, you will provide excellent care for patients and tend to their general comfort and well-being. The role involves providing skilled nursing care in the patient's place of residence and facilitating coordination under the direction of an RN and/or Physician. Our ideal candidate has a compassionate attitude coupled with an impeccable bedside manner, as well as an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Current license to practice as LPN in state of Indiana
- Current CPR
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as team member
- Ability to squat, bend, kneel, twist
- Ability to push/pull 50 lbs.
- Ability to lift/carry 25 lbs.
- Ability to wear respirator for patient care
- Visual and hearing sufficient to provide patient care
- Ability to drive car and/or arrange own transportation
Nice To Haves
- One year minimum of clinical experience
- Past experience in home care
Responsibilities
- Care for patients and tend to their general comfort and well-being
