About The Position

We are looking for LPNs with a passion for working with seniors in our assisted living and memory care community. Provides quality care to the residents and supervises the nursing activities performed by Care Associates and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Admits, transfers, and discharges residents, as needed with the guidance of the Director of Wellness. Prepares and administers medications, as ordered by the Physician. Must have staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, memory care, nursing home, or similar environment May administer professional services such as; applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs and care for the dead/dying, as required. Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus. Assist as necessary in our community. Must be caring, reliable, and observant with an understanding of MAR’s and doctors' orders It’s essential to excel in prioritizing, multitasking, and working independently. Performs all other duties as assigned by the Executive Director, and Wellness Director. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE : College degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. Six months to one year experience in a long-term care setting. Memory Care experience preferred. CERTIFICATIONS: LPN Licensure by the State of Louisiana CPR Certification Pay from $27.50 per hour.
