Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) ā Day Shift, Correctional Healthcare TK Health Clinics š Location: Lyon County Jail ā Emporia, KS š Schedule: Full-time | 10-hour day shifts Rotating weekends About TK Health Clinics TK Health Clinics is a correctional healthcare provider serving jail and detention center facilities across Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Illinois, Wisconsin and Texas. Our teams oversee day-to-day healthcare operations in facilities with inmate populations ranging from 25 to nearly 2,000. Our medical staff are afforded the opportunity to utilize their clinical skills to the fullest in a safe, secure, and structured environment. All offers of employment with TK Health Clinics are contingent upon successful completion of a thorough background check. Position Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care based on individualized patient needs, performing both dependent and independent nursing functions in accordance with established standards and procedures. This role functions under the direction and delegation of the Registered Nurse. Requirements
- Valid, unrestricted LPN license
- IV Certification required
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Perform IV therapy in accordance with certification
- Accurately document patient care
- Collaborate with nursing and medical staff
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols
