About The Position

Cherrelyn Healthcare Center is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its team at its Littleton, Colorado facility. This position includes the provision of nursing care to patients at the facility, both by providing care directly to the patient as well as by leading and supervising other nursing care providers. This position is either full-time or part-time and will include working mainly evening shifts and every other weekend. Requirements

  • Current license in the State of Colorado to practice as a LPN
  • At least 2 years of experience as a LPN
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, procedures, and protocols
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with other medical and nursing staff
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessing patient needs and developing plans of care accordingly
  • Perform nursing procedures, including wound care and patient ambulation
  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Document patient information in order to provide an accurate record of patient care
  • Lead and supervise other nursing personnel, to provide team-based patient care
  • Act as a resource for patients and families
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and staff trainings, as necessary
