Requirements

Current LPN license in NJ.
Current CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid certification.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a behavioral health treatment setting preferred.
Background in substance use treatment and co-occurring disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete initial nursing assessments with new admissions.
Administer medications and follow detox protocols.
Conduct COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients per protocol.
Provide medication education to clients.
Coordinate and support medical providers with assessments and medication management.
Maintain medical equipment in proper working order; ensure confidentiality and proper boundaries.
Perform other duties as assigned.
