Requirements
- Successful completion of a Practical or Vocational Nursing Program.
- Clear and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of practice.
- Active CPR Certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care for patients and residents in a skilled nursing, sub-acute care and long-term care nursing center.
- Supervise LPN’s and certified nursing assistants with appropriate LPN supervisory training as per state requirement.
- Participate in (or conduct) company-sponsored training to safeguard against improper use and disclosure of resident’s protected health information.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and state and federal law.
