Requirements

  • Credentials as a Licensed Practical Nurse with a current state license in good standing for the state in which work is performed
  • Valid, current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification
  • Must be at last 21 years of age
  • Meets the qualifications of a Child Care Supervisor as described in 55 Pa. Code Chapter 3800
  • This position requireExceptional, structured training: You will be supported from day one. After General Orientation, every new LPN receives over three weeks of hands-on, clinical training with experienced pediatric nurses before working independently on the floor.
  • this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Assist with admissions, re-evaluations, and care plan updates
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and medication administration standards
