About The Position

Southwoods Health is seeking an LPN Lead for our Campbell Primary Care office. This role is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of clinical operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe care to our patients. At Southwoods, it’s not just about the treatment, but how you’re treated.

Requirements

  • Current LPN license in the State of Ohio.
  • Current AHA BLS certification.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in a physician practice, preferably in a management or lead role.
  • Strong computer proficiency and working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows and medical office processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-directed with excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to delegate appropriately.
  • Effective communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
  • Superior prioritization and time-management abilities.
  • Maintains a professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment for patients and visitors through exceptional customer service.
  • Provide direct supervision of physician office clinical staff, including orientation, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions in conjunction with the Service Line Manager.
  • Ensure office duties and clinical processes are consistent with Southwoods Health standards and executed in accordance with facility policies.
  • Complete required Environment of Care (EOC) rounds and ensure the practice maintains compliance with all regulatory agencies (e.g., OSHA, ODH, TJC).
  • Recommend revisions to clinical policies to maintain compliance with federal and state regulations; develop and monitor data for performance improvement projects.
  • Actively manage physician templates to meet productivity and access targets; responsible for daily clinical staffing of the office.
  • Serve as a back-up for all clinical nursing positions as needed.
  • Manage medical supply orders via McKesson and maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Work closely with leadership to promote and grow physician office practices.
